The owner of this rambling garden with existing mature trees wanted a relaxing garden to wander round in a naturalistic style landscape.
The garden was designed and crafted from concepts observed in the natural landscape, giving the garden a relaxing, calming informal feel. Plants were chosen for their resilience. The design is low maintenance as plants perform with little intervention just as they would in a natural environment. Verbena and alliums interspersed with grasses give height and movement. Whilst the lower growing meadow mixed planting of field scabious, cornflowers, corncockles, field marigolds and ox eye daisy provide for the pollinators as well as adding summer colour.
