Getting Crafty in the garden

Foraging in the garden is a wonderful way of making your own seasonal wreaths and table centre pieces. The large wreath below I made from a mixture of berries, acorns, pine cones, dried climbling hydrenga and a few feathers. The structure is made from twisting pruned ivy into a circular shape and securing (in about four places) with gardening string.

And below I looped together two small circular structures, made from pruned ivy, to give a chain effect, cones, dried poppy seed heads, acorns and feathers are added to complete the wreath
